soccer season...kicking off the fall!

coach daddy & ellington had a blast during their first soccer season!

ellington was the ONLY girl on the team, but she didn't seem to mind. 

in the u4 division they had it scheduled for 30 minutes of practice and then 2- 10 minute games...so 50 minutes on a field doing the same thing with 4 year olds (well mostly 3 year olds). josh quickly shortened it to 10 min. of practice and then 15 min. of game...perfect! that's why he's the coach :)

the kids loved throwing the ball in, since it was the ONLY time they were allowed to touch the ball with their hands. that was night #1 rule to learn!!

they also loved playing red light/green light and actually figured it out pretty quickly. i over heard a few of the other moms say they use it at home now to help the kids listen..haha, good job coach white!

finally a girl to play against with

ellington and tessa attended BSF (bible study) last year together and had a blast playing against each other...obviously they played with each other more than against each other on the field. such sweet friends.

first soccer season was a SUCCESS!

she loved going to practice and playing and is excited for the season to start again.

so glad she enjoys sports and is confident to try something new.
