2 years ago...this sweet lil boy joined our family
what a blessing he has been to us. we are amazed at how God continues to provide protection over him {if you haven't heard the stitches stories...they're coming}. his strong willed personality keeps us on our toes, helps his older sister fine tune her "mothering"skills and simple makes us laugh at times when maybe we should cry. he is full of energy and has such a joy and love for LIFE.
he is a lover and a charmer. he loves to be snuggled, rocked and read to. he loves to sing and dance and is trying oh so hard to talk! he's persistent and does not give up easily {i.e. strong willed}
and yes, he still working the long hair at 2 years old and no we won't be cutting anytime soon :)
we split up the birthday festivities and took some "just us" family time.
the kids love the carousel so we headed down their on his birthday just before they closed, whew got one quick ride in before it ended.
enjoyed a simple birthday brownie just us 4 & then on to presents
it's fun to take the kids shopping for each other. ellington is so thoughtful and saw many things "buggy" {coined from our love bug} would like to have. she settled on a magna doodle.

josh's coworker was getting rid of this sweet ride and we quickly took it off his hands. the kids LOVE IT. early driving lessons for both of them.
