your story:
boy or girl? was the big question on your birthday...to be honest dad and i thought you were going to be a girl...no reason why, just what our gut was telling us. we were WRONG! the day you were born it was a beautiful sunny day but very, very cold. we thought you might arrive in the middle of the night on feb.8th so your sister and brother spent the night with papa & gram. instead you decided to give us another full night sleep, thank you for the restful night. we took a brisk walk around the neighborhood to help get the contractions going, which it did! we headed to the hospital around 10am and were on our way to meeting you! by 4pm contractions were at their peak and the epidural was on it's way. we past the time walking the halls, chatting with our amazing midwife leslie and grammie/grampie. around 7:30, your sister and brother came up to visit mom. shortly after that you arrived and were welcomed with so much LOVE.

we're so glad we got to bring you home to our first house as a family. just a few weeks before you were born we sold the house and were planning our move. lots of boxes and memories to pack away. but each of you {ellington, beckett & you} came home to this house: 1422 cardinal dr. such a fun home with lots of laughter, tears and memories were made there.
