we've had a busy end of summer and a great start to the fall
elle has finally moved into her new BIG GIRL room and is sleeping in a twin bed. i can't believe she is big enough for that but she is loving it so far and has learned which room is her's now. she still goes in the nursery to check on the crib but loves reading books in her new room.
daddy and elle put a cute tree up on the wall the other day, still need to get a good picture of the whole room with the girlie decorations.
we've kicked the fall of right with of course...FOOTBALL!!
elle is learning to cheer on the IRISH team and sports her daddy's favorite team each saturday with her jersey. this past spring josh found jerseys for all of us, even little baby boy coming soon. it's fun to enjoy saturdays together just relaxing with the football game on.
elle has also started to take more and more interest in going "potty". a lot of her friends were potty training this summer so as usually she tries to copy them all. i think we'll at least wait until i'm done working and at home. but we love the fact that she is willing to try and wants to be more independent.
josh and elle putting up her new tree in her room. she loves to be helpful and we love taking the time to teach her things. josh is so patient and such a great teacher.
sleeping beauty in her new BIG GIRL bed. she hasn't figured out that you sleep on the pillow. this how we find her every night when we check on her.
last week was my first week back to teaching. it was hard to leave her but knows she is good hands while she's playing the thomas boys and sydney. thank you martha for taking care of our sweet little girl. as usual we did our first day of school picture. brings back the memories of doing this with my siblings on our front porch.
her face is priceless and pretty hilarious...this totally shows her personality lately
