family camp

what to you do with 5 kids under the age of 7 during the summer?
CAMP

we had another great weekend away at Gun Lake with my sister's family
the kids enjoyed playing with each other...actually elle loved having kids to play with and olivia, garrett and sometimes ryan enjoyed "watching" a little one.

it is so much fun to see the kids play together and enjoy the experience of camping
helping daddy set up camp

what else are cousins good for???
goofing around with...of course
the little girls hanging out on the bike ride

evidence of a fun day at the BEACH
heading out on a hike

POP goes the weasel

we enjoyed a quick visit with jeff, emily, micah and aj at the near by ice cream store

elle ready to leave another great weekend of camping
here's to next year's camping experience with a 21/2 year old and an 8 month old

summer {fun}

summer never seems to get old
it has been so much fun having the summer to just hang with elle
she is at such a fun age and is excited about EVERYTHING
she loves water so the beach has been a blast this year and surprisingly she is much calmer if it's just me taking her...thank goodness. if daddy is with us she has NO FEAR and runs right in knowing he's going to get her. it has been fun to see her enjoy gramps and grams pool as well. she loves to gather the fish, dump them out, gather again, and of course repeat.
i have to say i don't even know how i'm going to do it all next year with a water loving 2 1/2 year old and 8 month old. it will be crazy but as always {fun}
it's just the season of life right now and i wouldn't change it for anything

this past week elle and i had a chance to hang out with my mom for a few days visiting the sights around town. elle loved showing her all the fun stuff she can do and how independent she is. it's fun to watch her grow and learn.

here's to you babe...6 amazing years

6 years of marriage
9 years of being each other's lives
3 years of dating
1 amazing wedding
3 houses
2 cities
6 different jobs
1 playful pup
1 adorable daughter
1 son on the way
countless adventures and memories
and...

who knows what God has planned for us, but no matter what i'm glad it's with you.
you are an amazing husband, father, and best friend. i love spending each day with you and look forward to what lies ahead of us. i can't put into words how much you mean to me but that you make me a better person. you are calm, supportive and challenging. thank you for all you do to show me your love.
i love you josh!

6 years - iron & candy
each year we have fun giving gifts that go along with the traditional anniversary gifts
so this year was no different, it was perfect since {candy} was on the list
one of our favorites... gummies
here's a little peek at all the goodies

a josh special...pink gerber daisies from the wedding bouquet ever anniversary
even though i know he's going to get them i still love them
sometimes it's the simple things that mean the most
we'll be 80 and he'll still get pink gerber daisies on our anniversary

looking forward to a fun dinner date soon
but i have to say the McDonald's dinner on our anniversary with elle was rather fitting

here's to many more years honey
